this post is an excerpt from something that i'm working on at the moment. i wanted to articulate my thoughts on how we spend such a great deal of our time focusing on what day it is, and what that means, when in reality we should focus on actually living these days.

furthermore, after wishing away our mondays and tuesdays, we often reach the end of the week and comment on how quickly it's gone. and when the months move on and the seasons change, we can scarcely believe how fast time is going, and vow to ourselves to live each day to the fullest.

but, come monday, we are complaining all over again.
