life is like a jigsaw puzzle 

one big picture

but once you take a closer look

a million little pieces

every moment, every experience, every person 

shape you in their own way 

what you might not realise right away 

is that some pieces don't fit

even if you don't see it at first glance

they don't go with the picture

no matter how much you want them to

because maybe some things aren't supposed 

to be a part of your life 

other pieces only fit for a limited amount of time

until they make space for something new, maybe something better 

sometimes you have to let go of a piece 

and there will be a gap in your picture for a while 

but one little piece

doesn't hold the entire picture together 

so don't you forget that there is more to life 

than one lost moment

one wasted experience

or one estranged person
